'tis the season

'tis the season to be jolly

thankful and kind

'tis the season to be merry

gracious and thoughtful

'tis the season to be joyful

generous and mindful

'tis the season to be cheerful

jovial and light

'tis the season to be cheery

loving and tender

'tis the season to be stressed

rushed and crazy!

'tis the season to remember

Christmas is being
surrounded by those we love.

As you may know 'we' Red Marmalade
are genetically bonded
and this collection of images
is a sample of the
large family we share.

We hope you all have a happy and safe
festive season
with those you love

and we will see you in the new year.

take care

grateful...

let us be grateful

to people who make us happy

they are the charming gardeners

who make our souls blossom.

~Marcel Proust

as we have made our last deliveries
for 2011
we will now focus on sharing in the joy
of the festive season
with our family,
which we will share with you
next week.

a little wonderful

being a family means
you are apart of
something
wonderful

it means
you will love
and
be loved

for the rest of your life

 no matter what

*author unknown

thank you to all the GTECC
who participated in the fundraiser

and allowed us to capture
your family's wonderfulness.

show me some louvre....

watching children
in the
quiet

makes for
a warm heart

and great art.

seeing children
in their own space
and time

captures a pureness, undeniable beauty
and creates such breathtaking artwork

it brings everyone who views it
to a quiet
heartfelt appreciation

you find yourself unable
to take your eyes
off it

and just like your precious little ones
it becomes an irreplaceable, unique work of art

They're Here!!!

Here at Red Marmalade HQ it doesn't take much to get us excited...

finding that last m&m scrunched in the bottom of the packet...
the trailer for the latest Twilight movie...
etc are all pretty big on the excitement scale...
so you can only imagine the frenzied excitement when our poor unsuspecting postie rang the door bell holding these beauties in his hot little hands...
I'm pretty sure Megan considered hip and shouldering me into the wall as she bolted past me to answer the door first...

We are so fortunate to have a job we love, I hope we never loose the feeling of a batch of Red Marmalade arriving at our door!!!

glam rock

when we photograph families
we like to have a
little bit of fun
it helps us to discover
and
capture
the uniqueness of
your family.
when these 4 'rocked' up
we knew we needed to
preserve their humour
and their youth.
(and maybe an album cover?)

yes it is challenging at this age
to get them all in one spot
at the one time
and then to request a photograph of them together.
What?!?!
I don't think you could argue though,
it was worth it.

What a lovely gift to give back to your mum.

Thank you from us
and your mum!

You guys ROCK!

snail pace

when we are young
we like to move quickly
(especially when we're between the aged of 1 & 3
and see a unfamiliar woman with a camera pointing at us)
 there is always something new
to see
to discover
to explore
to find
to experience
then we get older
and we wish that life would slow down
so we could spend some time
enjoying 'the moment'
and when we have children
we wish life would to slow to
a snails pace
so we can enjoy the moments
watching our children
discover
explore
and experience.

Thank you to K, A, o & s
for allowing us to spend some time with you
capturing your children's experiences
and personalities.
